This is sacred space. Began as a bible camp in 1978, this place for many years was known as Dutch Harbour Christian Camp. Bounded by Tam O’Shanter Creek, Kootenay Lake and crown land, many people have had the opportunity to rest and be renewed in their faith here.

In 2021, stewardship of this property was handed over to a new group to move the vision and mission forward. Thus, The Harbour at Riondel was born.

Located on 47 acres along Kootenay Lake, we desire that all who enter onto this land encounter God in a real and tangible way.  The Harbour at Riondel exists to create environments for people to walk with Jesus.

The Harbour is the parent ministry of the Wild Goose Collective, Headwaters discipleship, and Ro. Neighbourhood Coffee.  These various ministries help fulfill the mission of this ministry.

This ministry falls under the umbrella of Riondel Community Christian Ministries and is mission friends with the Evangelical Covenant Church of Canada. Together we partner to see God’s Kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven.

Mark and Jes Hagen, along with their three kids, are the Executive Directors of this new ministry and the founding members of the Wild Goose Collective.

Wild Goose Collective is a growing community of people who desire to inspire others to a lifelong pursuit of the Holy Spirit. We have a passion to see people encounter the love of Jesus through creativity, community and creation. Follow along on instagram for more updates on the Wild Goose Collective.

Mark and Jes are missionaries who raise support for a portion of their salaries.

‘…Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me— watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace…’
